What on earth is WEXIT?

For years Arsene Wenger, the man who orchestrated Arsenal's famous Invincibles' season in 2004, has been unable to do wrong in the eyes of the Arsenal faithful.

Over the last 2 seasons though the tide has turned with the North London club's fan's becoming increasingly frustrated with the the French manager's supposed lack of ambition and out-dated tactics.

But before this weekend's FA Cup fixture vs Lincoln, Arsenal fans took it to another level by taking to the streets to protest against Wenger carrying on as manager past the end of the season. With rumours of a new 2 year contract on the table, the Arsenal faithful felt that it was now time to really put the pressure on ... by campaigning for WEXIT!

Twitter account @slevinupyoholla posted up a video of the street protest which clearly shows an interesting array of banners including one that calls for WEXIT in big white letters on a red background. we can only guess that this is calling for Wenger's exit from Arsenal as he already left Europe earlier in the week!
