Forest, Leeds, Huddersfield and Sunderland in the mix to sign Rangers forward
In the aftermath of Mark Warburton's departure from Rangers it seems that he may be followed out the door by a number of his star players from the Glasgow side.
Last week it was reported that James Tavernier was on Nottingham Forest's shopping list this summer and now it seems that, if the Championship club get their way, he could also be joined by Rangers' forward Martyn Waghorn.
The 27 year old, who signed for the SPL club in 2015 from Wigan, has been in fine form for the Gers, having scored 43 goals in 67 games.
However it is not just Nottingham Forest who are looking to sign the former Leicester City man. Fellow Championship sides Leeds United and Huddersfield Town are also interested in Waghorn and also Premier League club Sunderland, who he started his career at.
Although Waghorn has worked under Warburton at Rangers it is believed that the relationship wasn't great nearing the end of Warburton's tenure, with the striker falling down the pecking order at the club. This could mean that a move to play for his old bosses new club may not be something that interests the former England U21 International.
