Unbelievably it's been 13 years since Leeds United were relegated from the Premier League after financial difficulties led to their superstar ladened team being dismantled.
With the Yorkshire team currently in 4th place in the Championship you could not blame the Elland Road faithful for daring to dream about top flight football next season.
Moving up to the Premier League is a big leap up from Championship football and most fans would expect wholesale changes in the Leeds squad in order to handle the added pressures that top flight football brings.
One of those changes could come in the form of a former fan favourite, Adam Clayton. Clayton has been in fine form this season for his current team Middlesbrough and has only missed 4 of their games so far this term.
However with Boro in real danger of being relegated after a torrid time in the last few months, the former England U20 midfielder, who spent 2 years at Leeds would jump at the chance of another season in the Premier League.
Is Clayton a move in the right direction for Leeds or should they be setting their sights higher if they do manage to win promotion back to where many believe they belong.
