Premier League club join Birmingham in race for winger
Long time Birmingham City target Marvin Johnson could be winging his way to the Premier League next season after an outstanding season with Oxford United.
The Birmingham born wide man, who started his career in the lower leagues around the Birmingham area has long been linked with a move to the Championship club and it was thought that he would join them this coming summer.
However it has now emerged that Stoke City are interested in fast-tracking Johnson's career by giving him the chance to prove himself in the top flight with Mark Hughes looking to add more pace to his front line.
With Johnson being a local boy though it would not be a huge surprise if he turned down the bright lights of England's top league to join his boyhood heroes and help them break into the top flight.
