Are Wednesday sizing up bid for Blades reject?

Obviously there is no love lost between Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United, but could Wednesday be about to get one up on their local rivals.

Reports today have surfaced that Millwall's Lee Gregory could be on the radar of the Owls who may be set to make a £2million bid in the summer for the highly rated striker.

Gregory shot to prominence this season with a impressive displays in the FA Cup for the Lions against high profile Premier League opposition and it is believed that should Wednesday get promoted the former Mansfield Town man could be ready to make the step up into the Premier League.

But here's the twist, Gregory started his career at Bramall Lane in United's youth set-up! Although the prolific front man never played a first team game for the Blades it seems that they now regret letting him go as it has also emerged that they may also be waiting in the wings to make an offer for Millwall's number 9!
