Which other Man City defender could be joining Bacary Sagna at West Ham next season?

It has been widely reported in the media that West Ham will launch a bid to sign Manchester City full-back Bacary Sagna this summer in a move to help solve their issues at right back.

With Slaven Bilic seemingly not thinking Sam Byram is ready for the first team, he has tried both Michael Antonio and the versatile Cheick Kouyate on the right side of defence, but both are lacking the positional sense of a Premier League full back.

Sagna is seen as the perfect antidote having already played over 250 Premier League games and possessing both the defensive and attacking side to his game that Bilic's tactics is crying out for.

However he may not be the only player making the move down south from the Etihad. Reports today suggest that Bilic is also a big fan of Zabaleta who he believes can add experience to the dressing room and also be a good influence on West Ham starlet Manuel Lanzini who West Ham want to help adjust to being the clubs starman since Dimitri Payet left.

The question though remains why the West Ham boss would want to bring in 2 players in the same position from the same club, so unless he's decided to really strengthen his weakest position it seems he may have a big decision to make.
