Are Norwich about to name this man as their new coach?

After relegation last season from the Premier League Norwich City fan's were looking for them to bounce straight back up this season. But as fan's of clubs such as Coventry, Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday have found out it doesn't always pan out like that!

This season hasn't gone to plan, and with the Canaries already 8 points off the play-off places the board took the decision on Friday to relieve Manager Alex Neil of his duties. But who will they bring in?

Reports today are pointing towards journeyman Manager Alan Pardew taking the reigns at Carrow Road and not all Norwich fans are happy.

As news of the possible appointment broke twitter exploded with worried Norwich fans wondering if this was a good move for the club.

If rumours are true, I'm worried. Appointing Alan Pardew would be like appointing Glenn Roeder. Completely wrong fit for the club imo. #ncfc

For me Pardew is very similar to Roeder. Both have good initial impacts but after 18 months everyone hates each other.

Whether the former Reading, West Ham, Newcastle & Crystal Palace man is a good fit for Norwich is yet to be seen but some fans were positive over the move.
