Could the Premier League's elite be ready to take advantage of PSG's Champions League collapse?
Barcelona shocked the footballing world last week by overturning a 4-0 deficit to beat PSG in the Champions League. But whilst the Catalan club celebrates what will become of PSG's shell-shocked squad?
If reports are to be believed the vultures are already circling around Paris with the world's top clubs ready to pick apart the Rouge et Bleu squad in the summer ... and it seems the Premier Leagues top 5 are at the front of the queue.
Both Manchester United and Chelsea are obvious destinations for Edinson Cavani, with Ibrahimovic's future at Old Trafford in question after reports coming out of the MLS that LA Galaxy are about to offer the Swedish legend an incredible £15million a season to join America's football revolution and Diego Costa constantly linked with a big money move to China.
Marquinhos is another player who could light up the Premier League. With Chelsea's captain John Terry looking likely to move on at the end of this season it opens up a space in the blues backline and with David Luiz already there it seems a logical choice for the you Brazilian. However Arsenal and Liverpool will be watching how things pan out with both seemingly in desperate need for a world class centre back to sure up their fragile looking defences.
Then again, once the dust settles and we all realise this team managed to beat Barcelona 4-0 in the first leg it may be less a case of wholesale changes and more one of adding mental steel to a team in desperate need of it right now.
