Former Marseille winger in possible shock Premier League u-turn.
The winter transfer window is notoriously difficult for club's to bring in players of real quality, so when Hull City's move for highly rated Marseille winger Romain Alessandrini broke down, after a lucrative offer from MLS outfit LA Galaxy, there was understandable frustration on the terraces.
The frenchman, famed for his blistering pace and impressive goal tally for a wide man, enjoyed successful spells at Gueugnon, Clermont Foot and Rennes before joining Marseille. His eventual move to LA Galaxy made him their designated player and one of the most exciting attacking players in the MLS.
However, reports today suggest Alessandrini is ready to re-open talks with Hull about a possible move to the KCOM stadium this summer ... but the question is would Hull City fans welcome him with open arms knowing he had already turned them down once?
