Is former Spurs' legend about to answer club's SOS call after Kane injury?
Harry Kane has been in scintillating form for Spurs in 2017, having already notched 3 hat-tricks and a brace for the club since January. However in Sunday's FA Cup Quarter-final vs Millwall the England striker went off with an ankle injury and early signs do not look good for the leagues joint top goalscorer.
With rumours abound that Kane's season may be over and the Spurs faithful waiting with baited breath to find hear confirmation a bizarre suggestion has been cropping up all over social media as to who may replace him in the Spurs line-up for the next few months.
Step forward (at least in the minds of very creative Twitter users) Tottenham legend and free agent (which is a bit like pointing out that Geoff Hurst is also technically a Free Agent) Dimitar Berbatov!
The Bulgarian left PAOK at the end of last season following a pretty successful stint in Greece and has not made a secret of the fact that he would be interested in a Premier League return with West Ham recently linked the forward.
Although obviously just the work of a Twitter users very imaginative mind, how would Spurs fans feel about Berbatov pulling on the lillywhites' shirt just a few times more?
