Stam tracking Fulham midfielder

Jaap Stam is already looking forward to the summer for the chance to strengthen his Reading squad and it seems that top of his shopping list is a central midfielder.

Former Manchester United youth product Ryan Tunnicliffe, who is currently on loan at Wigan, from parent club Fulham, looks to be surplus to requirements at the West London club next season and Stam, who knows him from his playing days at Man Utd, is said to be interested in securing the former England U17 International's signature.

With the 24 year old being tracked by other clubs, including, it's believed, Glasgow Rangers this is far from a done deal and with Reading currently possessing an abundance of midfielders it is yet to be seen if this will come to fruition.
