Forest set to raid Manager's former club this summer?
As a football fan, one of life guilty pleasures when your team gets themselves a new manager is hypothesising about who he might bring to your club from his old team. So when Mark Warburton joined Nottingham Forest earlier this week google searches in the Nottingham area peaked with searches on Rangers Wiki page (totally made up fact ... but I did, so I'm guessing I wasn't alone!).
Unsurprisingly the rumour mill has gone into overdrive already, however their seems to be more than a grain of truth in at least one bit of speculation.
James Tavernier has been a revelation since joining Rangers from Wigan in 2015. The English right back who started his career at Newcastle United, but only managed to make 2 appearances for the Magpies, has settled into life in Scotland well and been the standout player in the Glasgow side over the last year.
Warburton had said before leaving Rangers that it would be very difficult to hold on to the right back if an English club came in for the 25 year old ... so will Nottingham Forest be that team?
